House Rental wanted.

Hi,
Looking to rent a house, long term preferably. City centre if possible but would consider elsewhere. Circa 4-6000 per month. Anyone with their ear to the ground re info? Many thanks.

Hi Bill, there are a few rentals in Ban Rom Yen 3, just drive around and I'm sure you'll spot one. Average price is 4,000-6,000.

There are rentals in the P K Thani 4 village....Its about 5-6 km north of town on the Udon -Nog Khai highway. It is a nice and quiet area

Bigtilly, if you're still looking, I just moved into a 2-bdrm single story apt. and there are 2 more in the same building. Rent is 5000/mo. and you couldn't ask for any better security. The place is brand-new (never lived-in) but completely unfurnished. It's 2 km out on the Udon-Kut Chap road... let me know

I drove out Kutchap road last night but couldn't find the place. Guess I should try in the day time. Do the apartments have a name? Are any still available? Thanks

Paul, they are called "I-san Country Home" (singular??). Kut-Chap rd., immediate left after the bridge, then 300 meters on the right. On entering, go to big house on left (owner is Pol. LtGen Soontornsajaboon, ret.) or see any of the staff around the big house on the right (his son's house). Just ask about any rental properties or you can buy if you'd like.
