How do I resize an image to use as my avatar, please?

Google for 'online avatar resize' or 'resize avatar online', theres planty of free sites to choose from

Right, I've managed to do that, thanks, but now I can't upload it and get this message back:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Try this-
Open the picture you want to use with ms paint, click image then stretch/skew and adjust the picture to the allowable size avatar (100x100). Save it to another file, then move your cursor over it to see the new size.
You may have to resize a couple of times to get your picture down to the right size.

I've tried that too, and I'm still get the error message.

If a moderator would be so kind as to PM their email address, I can then email them my poxy little image and they can then give me a face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have Picasa Photo Editor (free download) open the picture, go in Picasa to File: export photo to file, then resize the pixels and if necessary reduce the quality (like from maximum to normal).

That will do.
