Driving car from Laos to Udon more than 3 days possible?

Hi All,

Is there anyone know how to obtain a permission from Nong Khai customs to drive a car from Laos for more than 3 days? as I always get 3 days permission from Friendship Bridge customs.
I've plan to stay in Udon for more than 3 days, at least 1 week and need to bring my car.

I lived in Lao from 02-07 and drover my Lao tagged truck over to Thailand regularly and stayed some times a couple of weeks.. I processed through Thai customs and they stamped my vehicle passport in and out.. I never was cautioned about any 3 day limit..

are you sure? I've been accrosed the bridge for many times and they just give me 3 days.

FrazeeDk, by "Lao tagged", do you mean with a Lao numberplate ?
Or just the "Lao" sign on the window ?

I guess the first, since you're living in Lao, but I could imagine you live there with a Thai numberplate as well...
