How to help a lovestruck victim understand.

Hi,
You can not help a LSV. IMHO. He is beyond help. No notice will be taken. Little head ruling the big head.. Happened to my next door neighbour. When he went back home, to work. House and car, he bought her, were taken over by two farang uncles.
Once a fool always a fool. He said to me last time he was over, she stays in every night and is in bed by 2000Hrs. Four days after he left LOS, last time, her and the car, left with her farang uncle and did not return until 4 days before he came back.
Once a fool aways a fool. I told him, since he did not believe me, to put a phone in the house, not a mobil, and phone her at 2000Hrs and see if she was in. He poo poohed the idea, silly billy.
He has just put a sign to sell the house. I wonder which name the house was put in, when bought. I think i can guess. I hope he was not stupid enough to put it in her name?

Plain and simple, I came to Thailand 20 years ago.
At that time The Thai scam was not so prominent. Now a days, it is more in the open.
So, yes.I got stung.Lost a bit, but not as much as many.
It was easy to get led down the wrong road.
Now, all the cheating and lying is for all the world to see.
I was a fool to listen! They were the devil on my shoulder.
Guess I had a sheltered life
My God! If i had stayed alone out here I would be a rich man.
A car of my own, nice pad. Like all the other Farangs. Even afford I retire Visa!
If only Udon map was around then .
I could have learned that I only Hansum man , and Good heart, when Have money in the bank!
No insults please I know I was a fool. No need tell me.
The only fools are the ones that keep doing the same thing over and over, I think most of us here have learned a few things the hard way in the land of surprises.

I know the lad in question well enough to be confident his first burn will be the last. His old boy broached the subject of transfering ownership of properties but this was rejected with near violence. Its is as ever a catch 22. Was told today word came back from three PI agencies he asked for quotes, ranging from 9000 bht a day to a chancer who quoted *Udon is way out in the boonies, so that,ll be 300,000 bht for a week long investigation*

At the end of the day a grown man is going to do what hes going to do, putting the info to him and trying to get him to use the parachute alluded to by a previous poster is all that can really be done.

Has all the hallmarks of a long game and I know nothing more now, so i will not comment further until concrete facts emerge.

maybe just maybe.............. shes different
