I actuallly need the rant section today

What is about the female species, all of them not just Thai, that after you tell them, for two years about a problem and they don't listen, The day finally comes when your cup runneth over and you yell. Then they seem to get the picture. But they feel like they are being abused because you raised your voice. Now it would seem to me that six months of discussion should be enough.

I'm pretty much say and do as I please now of days. I guess that's why the relationships don't last too long. But I am happy, and that's really all that matters, me me me me me me me

Ray, estrogen makes you illogical and bleed on a monthly basis. It's even worse when the estrogen stops (menopause-although it should be called women-o-pause) because it is like a junkie without a fix. That's the reason hormone replacement therapy has been so big for so long. Keep those hormones so some balance is achieved.
Testosterone makes you big, strong and logical. 250mg of hormone replacement therapy every week or so keeps us guys over 50 fit as a fiddle.
Therefore, you can not use testosterone logic with estrogen based life forms. The poor creatures just can't rationalize the way we do. It is all a matter of hormones. They are ok until puberty, then it completely falls apart when the estrogen starts pumping in. My 9 year old daughter is already showing signs of puberty. Danger Will Robinson! Alien being approaching!.
If the information comes from your male partner, it is ignored. How could a man know anything?
If it comes from another female, no matter how poorly informed, it is gospel truth.
I am certianly no expert, but after 4 wives and countless girlfriends, from many nations, I have learned one thing; I know nothing about women and it is fruitless to try. My hearing loss is a Godsend. I can pretend I don't hear most of the nonsense that comes out of my wife's mouth. I have tried teaching her about a myriad of common sense Western safety practices, to no avail. So, I have quit trying. I even use the "record" feature on my cell phone at times so I can record her saying things so that I can play them back when it becomes obvious she is wrong. To no avail.
Sounds like you have had a trying day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better for you.

It really does not do to shout at Thais,unless of course you want to move onto wife number four or five.They will not put up with it long term.It is not acceptable.

If you want to shout at women then go back to the ugly bloated farang that we have all chosen to leave so far behind us.We are here for a quality of woman who would not even piss on us if we were at home.

You do make a good point John But sometimes it is hard to ''can the frustrations''

For some that might be a desirable result and a Thai woman who will not budge through pleading can always be dislodged by a rant or two.Seen it way too many times not to be true.

Trying to prove a woman wrong, especially in Thailand, proves fruitless every time, for me.

However, I heard this simple saying a few years back and it has helped me to just smile and nod. "I would rather be happy than right". For me, this changed my life. I no longer will go to any lengths to
prove a stupid point. In the past, wanting to be right, could cause me much stess and grief. Life is too short for that now. It is OK to disagree.... briefly, but if looks like a pissing contest, drop it and say "I think you are right".

Perhaps some others can benefit from this, as well.
