I think it has, only, been open for 2/3 weeks and is a franchise/branch of a chain which has (I think) another 9/10 outlets in Thailand.
It is called "Chiant" but does not have a sign in Passa Angrit (English).
However, it is situated on Prajak Road just after the junction with Adulyadet Road (on the right hand side if you are approaching from the complex) just after the traffic lights and is next door to the Ayutthaya Bank. (I think the map reference is M11).
The owners have still not finished the "fitting out" and I think that one half (behind glass) will be air conditioned although, currently, all they use are fans.
The place is very clean, as you would expect from a chain, but I did not visit the toilets so cannot comment on them.
Most dishes are steamed (not fried) and those that I tried (including steamed prawn dumplings, steamed pork dumplings etc.) were as good, IMHO, as you will find in Hong Kong!
All Dim Sum are priced between 20 & 40 Bt.
Main dishes are priced the same, IIRC, with one exception - The most expensive dish on the menu is sliced duck, priced at 100 Bt.
IMHO, however, the main dishes are not as good as the Dim Sum although they are generous in size, for the price, and still worth trying.
The place was very, very busy with Thai & Thai/Chinese customers - I was the only "ferang" but I do not think that will be the case in future!!
I, for one, will be a regular customer.
I would apologise for not including/attaching photographs but I left my phone at home!
