you all are killing me, have never smell smoke upstairs in rooms or hallways leading up to.

I totally agree, I think it's time to knock this one on the head. If you wish to continue the debate about smoking please do it in the correct thread.

i dont know why bm are having ago at this bar (irish clock)because there are plenty more bar /restaurant where people smoke in restaurant and have no smoking signs.
get over it,it is thailand after all.

Unfortunately, there are some here who wish to impose their European standards on others.

I must confess that I am probably the cause for the subject being continued so long as I have been a staunch supporter of the smoking congregation here.

Ultimately, despite all those complaining about the smoking in such establishments, these businesses are going a great business catering to both smokers and non-smokers.

I have yet to hear any of our American guests with the Air Force complain about the smoking in the Irish Clock - which is serving meals to between 20 and 60 of them every day.

Me thinks that some folks just like to complain because it gives them something to do.

if they dont like it they should get the sorry buts back to europe uk where iam freezing my nuts of :lol: they could spend all there time in overpriced no smoking bars and pay top price.s to boot
welcome to the real world if you dont like your surroundings its simple go elsewhere ta ta
myself i will be looking to book a room in the irish clock soon if any are free and i hope to enjoy a meal our two and a few jars
any map members who are in town at that time maybe meet up for a beer :D our two our 3 :guiness:

The smoking posts have stopped and yet hxjohn,Doc and traveller are STILL posting about it.Time for a rest guys,it's getting very boring now.

i stayed there two weeks ago and they have safes in all the rooms.highly recommended,great rooms,staff and hosts superb.

Yes guests are allowed,and they give you a key to the back door for when you come home late ;)
so you dont have to worry about the walk of shame LOL

I'm hoping to get lucky and the whole signing guest's in at reception is abit embarressing.
Not sure if the Irish Clock is the venue for a 12 nightstay though not come across anywhere else just yet.

Oooo yes 12 mornings of a Great English brekky,and 12 days of great lunch or evening meals,if you fancy it,and with a good pint too. (the Thai Menu is great too) . Big screen TV in the bar,all in decent surroundings.
