Not stayed at the Irish Clock yet, but will for sure stay there on my next trip.
I think the massive majority of possitive posts says it all! :D

I live in udon so the need for a hotel room is out but I have eaten in the irish clock several times
I enjoyed the chow and the prices are more than fare I have had there filet mignon steak very good and cheap but i lean towards there fish & chips because it not easy for me to chew after my accident if I was to list my favorite restaurants it would be the clock carabot saengkaew hotel by robinson complex mojos
picola roma now being a big eater and cheap charlie I just love the buffet at the hotel

I was thinking of asking if the Irish clock is a good bet to stay for new year when I come back up to udon from Bangkok for the new year
This time my friend is state side so I need a large room for myself wife and 4 year old son
Are the rooms of a size that would fit a small make up bed in?

The rooms are a fair size. Suggest that you drop Steve an e-mail at
info@irishclock.com
and ask him directly - they may even have a 'family' room.

Hey I've been going to Udon for many years and come breakfast time I usually struggle from self inflicted wounds and can't eat...but if I go to the clock I don't leave a crumb...must be good...also try that cottage pie. but unless your wearing welding gloves let the girl put it on the table, don't try and grab it...

I notice that The Clock have a board outside advertising a Christmas Day roast.
Choice of Turkey, Pork, Beef or Lamb. Roast potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding, Sage & Onion stuffing. chipolatas and veg....for 280 baht. I don't know if Steve is taking reservations, or if there are any spaces left (but I would guess so as he is still putting out the board) I will try & find out tonight if I am out that way...

Have just eaten dinner (the roast lamb). Best meal as I'm concerned in Udon. Staff always polite, Steve and Marli always care for their customers. I just hope that the Clock remains open for many a year :D

Hi

Have they started the building next door to the Irish Clock yet.
It's been 18 months since I was there last.

Cheers
