How long do you want to rent it for and what part of Udon do you live?

hi :D :-)
No i dont live in Udon - i actuallylive in Chiang Mai ( which explains why i like to use bicycles )
I will only be visiting Udon for maybe 2-3 days next month but my host needs to go to work every day
and i thought it would be a way for me to go out and see the city during the daytime ?
I just thought there may be a cycling shop in Udon that may be willing to rent out a bicycle?
I have a nice bicycle here but I don't care about the appearance or age of the one I would rent
there- it can be one of the old Chinese looking bikes if that is all that is available -you know the
tourist style like we see so many of here in Chiang Mai :D

Go look at Nong Prajak Lake on the map again. At the top right, near the 7/11, you will see the word cycle.

The rental bikes at Nong Prajak are typically for riding around the lake and rented by the hour, 40bt I believe and you have to leave an ID. It may be possible to negotiate long term. Also, the bikes are suitable for a couple of laps around the lake, but not for touring around town.

Another option is to buy a cheap, no-name brand from Big C or Tesco for 2000bt then leave with your host or donated to someone needed.
