Jetstar plane travel in Vietnam

If any of the forumites are considering a holiday in Vietnam, whilst it pains me to say it, only use Jetstar (Aussie subsidiary of Qantas) as a last resort. Having recently travelled throughout Vietnam and used Jetstar as the carrier. Cancelled flights, delayed flights, some as much as 6 hours (due to technical difficulties) and unscrupulous check in staff offering available seating on earlier flights to passengers who were pre-booked on later delayed flights, to those who were willing to pay the highest figure were issues which tested the patience. Given the experience we opted for Vietnam Airlines. Whilst a little more expensive, I found their planes and staff to be of a high standard, punctual to advertised flight times and l would recommend them. The travel issues aside, Vietnam is wonderful place to travel and the culture and the beauty of the country is quite breathtaking.

Ur right Tony, I only used VN airlines one time and that was going from Nha Trang to Saigon (HCMC) in 03 and they seemed to be efficient and well organized way back then.
