Index Mall, don't know if they're Lazy Boy branded.

No the recliners in Index are not the ridiculously expensive Lazy Boy recliners.
They are Index own brand. I have one from Index, very comfortable.
I got a bargain about this time last year, Index had a clear out of old stock and designs. I picked mine up for 8900 baht.
Money well spent.

Thanks all. Having upgraded to Platinum True I will be spending more time watching TV to justify the extra costs so looking for a comfy chair to while away the hours. One more question... where exactly is Index Mall?

Yes, Index ones looked pretty good to me. Bit concerned that, in these temperatures, leather or pvc might be 'sticky', unless the aircon on full blast. But perhaps my comment comes from trying to get my backside unstuck from cheap chairs in karaoke/girlie places!

A friend of mine who was in the furniture business in the UK told me that the success of La-Z-Boy worldwide had inspired many copies; in his opinion some were just as good, but the majority were definitely inferior with poorly designed frames and reclining mechanisms.

A potential additional problem (in the UK) was that some back street manufacturers had been known to use dangerous materials which did not meet UK fire safety regulations (e.g. using poor flame-retardant materials, and cheap polyurethane based foams which, if ignited, produce cyanide gas).

I don’t know if and how rigorously fire safety regulations may be applied to furniture that can be purchased in Thailand, but (IMHO) it is probably worth checking what materials are used before you buy.

There is a La-Z-Boy website for Thailand where you can see the range that is available locally:
