live concerts in Udon Thani

As I could not find a thread on this subject on the forum I would like to start this to give information of upcoming live concerts in Udon Thani for those who like live music on stage.

On Saturday there are 4 Thai Groups on stage at UDTOWN

Tonight there is a concert in Nong Samrong (something to do with TV Channel 3 I think)

Saw them setting up this morning, the g/f said is was a concert involving somecelebs from a lakorn on channel 5 she likes. Joy of joys, think we might be having a mosey on down there tonight to experience it...

Complete chaos to the road system in the area, with diversions via a tiny little track by the lake.

Think I might just put on my "superhero hat" and offer to stay home and babysit (got to be worth a few "brownie points").

Wifeys just got back from rehersal (yes they actually DO reherse that cr*p), and she says there is absolutely nowhere to park a car ......... one and a half sides of the duel carriageway is motorbike parking but none for cars
She's also adamant it's Channel 3 not Channel 5 people.

The best concert i ever saw years ago in Udon , was " Da Endorphine " @ Mambo.

Placed was packed and it went off.
