Hi Ron.
I am normally pretty careful about using beta software. I will google it first to get reviews and feedback before I install.
I am now using FF 3.1.beta 1, but also have 3.0.4 installed if something goes tits up with the beta.
I also have Advanced System Care 3 RC4 currently installed - it is a great utility program for keeping Windows "clean".
Previously I downloaded Skype 4 beta, but was unhappy with it, so went back to 3.8.
There is a great little program I use called FileHippo Update Checker
http://www.filehippo.com/updatechecker/ which will check on all your current programs, and then see if new versions are available (including beta versions). You then have a choice as to whether you want to download the new version.
However, if you are going to do so, I have found the File Hippo downloader to be quite slow, so will use a different downloader such as Major Geek.
ps sorry for getting off topic.
I have cleared all the cookies, Lee, and will see what happens.
