I'm not trying to take Dr. Phil's place in life, but for those of you who are relatively new to a relationship with a Thai, it bears remembering that no matter how you two seem made for each other, in all likelihood your brain is operating on a different wavelength than hers (or his)....sort of like 110v versus 220v. A good example of this phenomenon is taking place in front of Government House in Bangkok....with the rerelandscaping to appease the spirits that keep this fine government humming along. Lest you tell yourself that your mate has no interest in fengshui, I'm confident there are many other examples of how eastern brains and western brains are wired differently.....visiting the Maw Du to pick the absolutely best cesarean section date and time and having not much of a problem getting the doctor (the real doctor) to deliver at the precise time just as another example.
