MB insurance

Postby kopkei » April 22, 2011, 4:53 pm

does anyone know where to find in udon an insurance broker or office that can supply grade 3 insurance for MB, like my PCX and air blade ? , i know about the online insurances providing this , but i would prefer a representative in udon in case something happens, as the normal porobo not really cover much.... :(
thanks for any answer...

first tafia, thanks for the one and only response , i find it strange, many members on the forum worry about going to eat in a restaurant where they not wash the plates with hot water, and do not not rinse 2 times with disinfectant , but looks like you all drive a MB with only porobo insurance of 323 baht? again strange priorities here... :(

I didn't look at this thread before as the title 'MB insurance' could mean anything (i.e. name of insurance company)...
Anyway, as I have recently renewed my policies... here's my 2 Baht's worth.

One of my bikes is unregistered and as such can only be covered by CTPL (compulsory third party liability) policy, this cost me 645 Baht and is the lowest class you can get (as you say porobo).
My 750, and my small bikes (100, 110, 125, & 160) are covered by Third party with bail bond + fire & theft (commonly known as class 2 cover) Not cheap, but peace of mind is worth it.
They are all covered by the same company 'Thai Sri' (a partner of Zurich Insurance group, Switzerland).
I went to the head office in Bangkok (Sukhumvit) as I happened to be there recently, but there is an office here in Udon:

If you don't have any joy there, PM me & I'll dig out the Head office number.

thanks stevo ,
i will go have a look next week ;) it is important as porobo only covers medical expenses , and until what price???
i know they have these online insurances , but would be better to have a representative near by in case something happens..., i know the price of a 3gr for my PCX wil be around 3.500 BAHT..., i know big bikes almost same price as cars, my cousin has got a 650 versys , insurance is here between 7.000 - 13.000 baht depending what company u are using ;)
