MELBOURNE CUP at the Aussie Bar

TUESDAY 3rd November is the HORSE RACE that stops a nation! Yes, the MELBOURNE CUP. It is always a great day in Aus and I hope to make it great here. The ladies all dress up to the 9's, and there are prizes for the best dressed. There will be 'sweeps' for ease of winning on the fastest horse. It is an early start, so the bar opens at 9am and the main race is around 10am. Our new chef will be here so we'll have as great selection of Thai and Falang food. Please come and join us for some outrageous fun. It is one of those things, that the more are here the better fun it is for us all, and the more sweeps we can run. So, bring your LADIES dressed in there finest and lets enjoy a fabulous morning with a difference!

The bar will run at happy hour prices and of course you can treat us like a cafe and have tea/coffee/juice!

What a morning! Thanks to all those who joined us for the big race. It was a SHOCKING win. My horse came last, the wooden spoon as we say in Aus. Ongart, our new chef cooked up a wonderful feast of Thai and Forang food, which was enjoyed by all. Thanks to Andrew for running the sweeps, and to the beautiful ladies who won prizes for being so beautiful. The staff were great turning up at 9am too. In gratitude and pleasure until the next party.
