Members list, avatars and forum rules...

lee not sure if this the right place to ask butttttt Why all the porn sites in the members list?? very disturbing.
Also I am curious as to why the avatars have no motion anymore.

i am not Lee but...the motion av's are still here but most of us that use them change them often.
as for porn sites they seem to come with 'new' members that join just to spam us with their crap...but they really don't get much chance to actually post on here...deleted more or less as soon as they do.

I'm sorry about that, unfortunately we were inundated last year with Spammers posting porn sites in their profiles. I installed a script to counteract this and disabled the website function on the old forum. However I haven't yet had the time to go through the member list and manually delete the porn sites that were posted last year. Thanks for reminding me anyway, I will do my best to remove them a.s.a.p.

Members can choose their own avatars and change them as often as they like. They can choose either moving avatars or still one's, it's nothing to do with the forum software.

5 years on and we have never used any of the material posted on this forum for any other purpose, except one short story in our first magazine edition. This story was posted on the forum and we asked the author for permission before using it in the magazine. If we use any other material in the future we will do the same.
