Michael Jackson 'in LA hospital'

Pop star Michael Jackson has been taken to a Los Angeles medical centre, US media say.

Local broadcaster KABC has said the 50-year-old singer was taken by ambulance to the UCLA Medical Center.

The Los Angeles Times has reported he was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his home.

The paramedics performed CPR and took him to the medical centre, the newspaper says. No further details were available.

The star was due to begin a series of comeback concerts with an appearance at London's O2 arena on 13 July.

He has a history of health problems and has not completed a concert tour in 12 years.

We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but they had no luck.

We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

LaToya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

Bangkok Post has picked up on the Story that he is Dead Too.

They said he was dead first thing this morning and now say he is in intensive care ??

TMZ says he's dead. They are usually spot on. Knowing them, they probably had one of their guys in the ambulance with him.

It's midnight here in UK now and every channel is covering the news of his death.

I,as for everyone I know,don't know the truth about all the personal drama in his life,but IMO.he is one of the greatest icons,if not the greatest,in the music industry!RIP M.J.

agree, was very talented in his time, and definitely brought dance back to music...........BUT, one less paedophile.......allegedly accused and charged a couple of times. personally i believe he was. 1st time cost him in excess of 20 million for kid not to testify. don't think it would of cost him that much to defend himself in court, but you never know what happened or would of. i smell smoke, i start looking for fires.

i see his life as a horror story !!!!! and would make a great film . yes a very talented individual , no question of that . a child star , used and abused by his parents , for the sake of a big fat profit . never allowed to mature as most youngsters do , because he was the cash cow for the entire family . is it any wonder the poor bastard grew up to be a complete lost it ? i tend to agree with L A about the peadophil bit , whether the kids he entisted into his home were ever sexualy abused or not is , and will always be open to question . but the fact remains he did have a very big thing for kiddies , and left himself wide open to critism , ridicule and blackmail . where were his advisors during these times ? maybe he was just trying to get some of his lost chilhood back , though others . no one will ever know . a tormented soul that maybe now will find peace .
