Mirrors

Postby Kudjap or Bust » August 13, 2008, 12:17 pm

Does anyone know where I can buy a full length mirror. The wife has been on about getting one for ages but I can't find any. She wants one hung on the wall in the dressing room so not one with a wooden frame and stand.

If not does anyone know of a place where I can have one custom made.

We've checked all the regular haunts, the big stores and the DIY centres all they have are regular wall mirors.

Across the road from Tesco there's a glass shop. I've been told they've got mirrors, cut to order. Haven't personally checked it out but it's on my list of "where to find stuff".

There's also a glass shop with cut to order glass and a large stock across street from the Night Market area. Not sure if they have mirrors but would certainly think so... it's a pretty big place and also has large selection of aluminum framing they will cut to order as well.

About a month ago I priced a custom cut mirror at the glass shop sort of across from Lotus. 80 cm x 80 cm, 5 mm glass with smoothed edges for 440 baht. Mounting hardware was 60 baht.
