New devices.

Just been watching the U.K. news. In Birmingham, U.K.. the police have installed a device which can detect gunshots. I believe that New York was the first to install this. The area covered is 2 square miles. They will not say where. This will pick up loud gunshots and will not pick up voices etc.. Would you believe it, they interviewed a person about this, looked like he was a Indian, and he was protesting that this was a invasion of your privacy and should not be allowed. This is why I'm glad i left the British Isles.
It is all about the welfare of the criminals and does not protect the rights of the individual or victims. To many P.C. people that have nothing else to do in there lives. I hope things are changing.

It seems odd to me that so many anti-immigrant Brits have emigrated to Thailand where they'll never be treated as equals with the residents. Of course, it all equals out if the bad-mouthing works both ways. I wonder if Nick found enough students for his last Thai class at AUA. ก ข ค

I'm of the opinion that sure Thais do "bad mouth" farangs here in the los of course they do i hear it most days HOWEVER i dont see any farangs bleeding the benefit / welfare service in Thailand why cos there aint one most are living here on pensions or running businesses inturn adding to the economy ,,,,,,,, my point being yes i am anti immigrant because of how and why some of these people got in the country and behave whilst living there , i don t see farangs living in Thailand openly wanting to harm the locals or brainwashing others into jihad so Parrot go to have a few days in sunny Scunny and see these islamic preachers spreading their evil beliefs n raping the welfare system then you might wake up and smell the bacon.

lets not forget the indian doctors ,
who came over to this country ,
and filled the vacancies in the industrial towns ,
ripe with patients suffering from an illness brought on
by working in the coal pits or steel works .
these were the places where many british doctors ,did not want to be.
i,m also racist , the white lazy bstds .

Which enabled the NHS to keep the salaries of doctors so low that a couple of generations later nobody want's to be a doctor.
Oh, yes, and the deseases and the nits that their kids brought over with them and spread throughout the schools that they attended.

But Bob it had been virtually eradicated in England prior to the Indian/Pakastani Invasion, in much the same way that TB had been wiped out (until recently)

I would have thought if there were less checks, the number of cases would have gone down, not up?

In the Non rural area of East London the numbers rocketed, which I admit, may just have been a coincidence, but not too many people in my area seemed to think so.

Meanwhile ....... back on topic, are there that many gun related crimes in Brum to require such a system? And if the local bobbies are two miles away what chance have they got of catching the culprits?

Stat. please read my post correctly. THE AERA COVERED IS TWO SQUARE MILES, by these devices, did not mention policemen every two miles. This is a trial to evaluate the devices. They have my fill agreement, as a law abiding citizen.
