New Person In Charge at Nong Khai Immigration

I was in Nong Khai Immigration this week to get a 30 day extension.

After going through the regular steps with Mr. Happy I was told to follow one of the female assistants to an office in the lobby. Major Rapeephat Yoseph (Inspector) was there to approve everything Mr. Happy had done and sign the visa extension in the passport. She spoke good English and was extremely helpful and personable. Even gave me a card and offered to help with my Married Visa Extension whenever I was ready to process it.

It seems that they have finally realized that Mr. Happy wasn't very helpful at all to us Farangs.

Yes indeed, went there late December for my retirement extension.
That new boss lady seems to bring fresh air and some well needed friendliness to that place
But I saw Mr Happy still dealing as nice a s always with people being so unlucky to have to sit at his desk
