Do you speak with any natives Git? Use it or lose it as the say. I think with a lot of guys that are married or in relationships with ladies (or lads) that are good English speakers there is no incentive so they lapse into English and forget what they have learned.

If I go to the night market I have a few beers and chat to the owner or try to chat in Thai/Lao... She forgets a lot of the English that she knew in her younger days. Also some of the beer promo girls don't speak English so it is a nice way to practice. For purely educational reasons you understand... :-"

Yes I do, havent got to the point of a real convesation yet. Use it in the home but they are used to how I speak and know what I mean. They way the class is being presented this time is very helpful.

To hot to ride whatele do I have to do

This teacher comes prepared to teach each day O is following it up with reading very good this time around. Takes a kid six years to learn this stuff. So it will take some time and effort, But it's also fun when it finally starts coming together.

Ms. Pim must be new but Ms. Oh is great... She was never fazed at even my most ridiculous questions.

Are you just using the Becker books Git? I had 3 kids books... Yellow, Blue and Pink I think. I used to make a point of not going home as I'd switch on TV, put my feet up and procrastinate. I'd go to Irish Clock, Richmond Steak House or Fuzzy Ken's to do my homework... :D One day in the Irish Clock lovely On (no longer there) saw what I was doing, called Mali over and almost fell around laughing at my efforts in writing Thai like a 5 year-old.

Thai characters are so intricate but practice makes perfect.

Keep at it young jedi... Your efforts will be worth it in the end... :D

Ya Pim is new But is just like O really impressed with her doesn' use the book, uses her own prepared with hand outs, writes then in Thai, English and Phonetics. She outs a lot of time in calls preperation and it shows.

This turned out to be an even more humbling experience. The kid is three, Doesn't read but has memorized he entire alphabet. I can't do that

ActuallY I'm really enjoying the classes feel like I'm finally making some progress. But like you I study everyday. This time really feel likes I'm going in the right direction makes the work worthwhile.
