Hi everyone i'm geoff graves and i'm new here. I have just spent my first visit in Thailand and more specifically Udon Thani...
What a brilliant place to visit or even live. It's much bigger than i thought it would be and i fell in love with it and met the most wonderful Thai lady there who is now my girlfriend.
obviously i'm going back there as quick as i can ( i wish i never came back to the UK really ) but need to earn money to keep the relationship going and get back to her.
I also must say i'm hooked on Thai food, beautiful flavours and wonderful tastes. Very yummy for me.
Can't wait to go back now, even though i only got back last night.
I will recomend it to all my friends and workmates.
Just brilliant.

I stayed in the Napalai Hotel in Udon. Nice hotel and good prices and service. We talked about this and i'm going back for christmas. Not sure if i will stay there or go to her place! Plenty of time to sort that out and i don't wont to push her into letting me stay at her place.
Thanks

Geoff, welcome to the forum.
Great to hear you are in high spirits and things go well.
I might venture you sound like you are at the entry level of the learning curve... Do be careful that your learnings will not cost you too dearly.
But apart from that slightly pessimistic statement, welcome and perhaps we can even meet in udon some day.
