Well the first Saturday in the month is here again this week, the 5th of May. It is actually Coronation Day but it shouldn't affect us as Monday 7th is going to be the day banks and offices close. Barring natural and maybe unnatural disasters I should be there in the normal seating area near the big screen, about 7.00pm. Be nice if we had a few new faces to put names to, and maybe some we haven't seen for a while.

I'll be there and "OMG" I think the TW will be there too!!!!!!! But the remains to be seen...."Seeing is Believing".

Will the crowd be moving to an in-door air conditioned place later as in the past, or is the night market the only meeting place now?

I have missed the last several of these get-togethers and I am looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and maybe meeting some new ones too.

it looks as tho the monthly meet up is going to be starting at Nong Ribs, with a few regulars that show up at the night market starting there, and depending how many margiritas are consumed in honor of cinco de mayo, that mexican holiday, may be a bit late or miss the night market, depending on how settled in we get.

jetdoc, stan, and probably rito and myself will be starting there sometime after 6 pm. some tasty offerings and inexpensive drinks in a comfortable setting. if haven't been there, no better time to try than tonight and meet some members. hope to see you there.

I hope you have thought to tell Nong of your inpending arrival as she likes to keep her stock of ribs fresh and only orders a few kilo at a time. just one customer taking 2 kilos away cleared her out the other day and I waited half hour for some fresh ones to be marinated. worth it though.

i was going to ring her today, and let her know to up the margi stock. i'll mention we're coming, stan, rito and myself always bring the family, so she may have to order a few more kilos.
