Thank you for the kind invitation Manadon. It is taken in the true loving spirit that prevails at this time of the year, from all or no religous creeds. Unfortunately as a Buddhist, Xmas has no religous significance for me but I do enjoy the warmth of my family around me as I know you must from Christs family .Enjoy your day.Maybe say a prayer for the previous poster that he might too .

Well the invitation was sincere, even though I personally do not agree with the comment 'The last year we have the freedom to share Gods love.'
Those who wish to can, but for me many years spent elsewhere, I think like trubrit about family, share it with them and I am thankful.

You really are one of the worst offenders if not the worst when it comes to snide comments and gutter type observations.

Here is a member who is offering a genuine invitation to those who wish to go for a meal and some company at what is a special time for all families and loved ones.

Many will not have the benefit of local family or genuine friends to share this period with or a decent feed, offerd free.

On behalf of those who may wish to take your kind offer up, I say well done and thank you Mandadon.

My religious thoughts and leanings are and will remain private and respectful so don,t bother to slag me off as I unlike th OP I can stand my own corner.

Your post along with many others you continually post on the forum belong with this in the trash bin /toilet IMO

What an armhole you are to make such unwarranted comments on this kind offer to others who may feel the need to go and appreciate some company.

Incidently I do not see you ever making such a generous offer to feed others " ever " unless it is for self rewarding opportunities. [-X

I also would like to think the standards of U.Map are above your disrespectful comments to the O.P,s offer.

Have a happy and peaceful N.Year fellow members and stay safe out there. ;)

P.S. I will not make your views on this appear to have importance so don,t expect any further input from me towards you !!

Sorry Manadon, I didn,t see this post until after I,d resent my offering which mysteriously didn,t arrive for whatever reason.

Pleased you got a good response and many new faces, some of our fellow members who appreciated your kind offer among them, no doubt.

Thank you

Enjoy the rest of the season and have a happy new year.

I like you MBs have my opinion , wether likes or not thats the way the cookie crumbles

To clarify my post ..... first of all i was stone cold sober before anyone assumes i was under the influence.

The point i wisehed to make in my particular style was that there seems to have been an influx of Christins in to Udon over the last 3 years ,,,,,, all well n good HOWEVER during the run up to the festive period i was firstly a tadge annoyed by my sons schools attitude reference Christmas and WOT I MUST DO .......... then came the presession of calers to the shop ,,, fistly the two rugmunvhers asking why no xmas tree then trying to convert me , then the men on bikes with leaflets , then the group from Nong Khai who actually bought a coffee before BOTHERING me and my staff with their religious belefs ...lastly came the 3 buys on Christmas eve ,,, even tho a beautiful tree now in place i politely pointed out CHRISTMAS is for the kids they stilll insisted on expplaninng why we are here and hoe great certain things are ... so upon seeing this thred i posted MY OPINON AND EXPERIENCES regarding this subject .

If i offened any one i appologise , but being harrassed in my home and business premies is not on in my book ,all my staff are Buddist and didnt have aclue wot these people where talking about they just stopped them working on possibly the busiset days ever in the shop .

For the record i was brought up Christian , but never go to church , they are for wedings , funerals and chrissenings where i come fro and dancing n singing are for nightspot venues ,,,,,,,,,, and all too ofetn now preaching is common plave this forum .

As for those who think i need praying for ...go ahead ,,,als IMO its this forum that needs praying for as in recent months its been as dry as old bones , in desperate need of some banter , debate , or even contrversy and stimulation .

Agin appologies if needed but as aforum member n sponsor I TOO HAVE MY OPINION.

Thankyou

Mash

Ditto KP comment, but still not sure why it is the last year to share God's love, maybe the OP can explain, pleased you had a bigger turnout but please, as has been pointed out in Mash's post, the bikers should not try and hassle me in my estate, this a couple of months ago, they see a farang and then cycle up to my house,I go indoors then they ring the feckin bell,if I want some God's help with my rants then I know where the place is situated, not at my front door. Ta vely much, here endeth my posts on the matter, kapish :D

I can understand Mash's irritation with the prostilizing door nockers, but the apology followed by his justification as to why he feels it was ok to take a crap on this invitation just makes him look like a jackass.

Just my opinion. 8)

Hey, whatever happened to.....

A sincere offer to be worked over by religious fanatics I think. I have no use for them or their tactics. I believe people can and should do what they want as long as they are not bothering others. Pushing religion is out of line and using this forum to lure people is not right in my opinion. We had an offer awhile back by the same poster to save our finances through him, another bit of bait. I am not biting and I don't care if anyone does not like what I am saying, my opinion.
