You cannot get a new visa in Thailand, you must go to a Thai Embassy or consulate outside Thailand to get a new visa. You can get a non imm O in Vientiane (Laos) under certain circumstances - I have never tried, so I am totally unsure of the circumstances. And I believe it is only a single entry 90 day visa. You can certainly get a FREE tourist visa there (which will last 60 days & then potentially extended (for 1,900 baht) for an additional 30 days at Nong Khai Immigration. You can also get a double entry tourist visa in Vientiane - I think this will cost you 2,000 baht & is good for two times 60 days stay in Thailand - You must physically leave Thailand to enact the second 60 days.
If you want another multiple entry non Imm O visa then I am almost certain that you will have to go back to your home country to obtain - I know we from the UK have to do so....

Thanks Bob and others,

Just visited the Thai Embassy website in Singapore and sent an email regarding getting a Non Immigarnt "O" visa there rather than returning to OZ. Seems they have a requirement for having 400k in the bank on a statement , Does this seem right? My previous Non Imm "O" visas from Perth had no such requirement.

From what I've read on Thaivisa that seems to be the requirement from Singapore.

That sounds like the "Marriage" requirement Kevro.
As I said (about getting one out of Laos) the requirements can be VERY specific about attempting to get one outside your home country.
As lopburi3 said before the only place you are going to get an easy, no strings attached non imm O multi entry is your home country.....

On Thai Visa there are quite often posts about farangs married to Thais who want to get Non-O visas without returning to their home countries.
I believe Kuala Lumpur and Penang are the two most friendly,at the moment, for getting multi-entries.
Copies of wifes id,tabien baan, your passport etc.required.I believe that they dont always ask to see proof of income but it might be prudent to have 100k baht in a Thai bank account, just in case.
But these visas are for the married guys. For those unmarried you do have to go back to your own country to get a multi entry Non Immigrant O.
