Nong Prajak Bike Hire

Mrs P. Went to Nong Prajak Park to rent a bicycle with the family.
The prices for rental have been reduced from 50 baht to 20 baht due to the increased competition as more vendors have opened up.
That's for one hour rental.

That's what I thought mate.

I doubt very much if we (Farangs) can rent a bike for 20 baht.

I rented a bike several times over the last six month and each time is was 20 baht.
I did pay a bit more, I think 50 baht, for a three person one but my legs were too big and the shop owners let me take a single and a double for no extra charge.

They rent for 20-30 a day in Nong Khai!Great way to get around town!

Just get the TW or Tg to choose collect and pay for your bysicle at the 20 baht rate , whilst you hide behind a tree.

As you're talking about bicycles, I thought I'd wheel out a few puns for you!

Some of these people who overcharge like to take you for a ride, and can put something of a spoke in your plans. They tend to come in cycles, or chains, don't they?

It can be quite tiring though, if you get saddled with it often. You just have to tread carefully, learn to handle such things and put a brake on your emotions, otherwise it can throw you off balance, puncture your ego and leave you tired out.
