Osama Bin Laden killed

Well might as well remind everyone before ending.....

The FBI admits: No Hard Evidence Connecting Bin Laden to 9/11

Many posters on this thread have bought the our government's "myth" - hook, line, and sinker.

For the Record:

Osama bin Laden’s role in the events of September 11, 2001 is not mentioned on the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted” poster.

For the Record:

OBL himself - who had no problem taking credit for his own and his colleagues' violent work - denied involvement with 9/11.

**

On June 5, 2006, author Ed Haas contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation headquarters to ask why, while claiming that bin Laden is wanted in connection with the August 1998 bombings of US Embassies in Tanzania and Kenya, the poster does not indicate that he is wanted in connection with the events of 9/11.

Rex Tomb, Chief of Investigative Publicity for the FBI responded, “The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Osama bin Laden’s Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting bin Laden to 9/11.” Tomb continued, “Bin Laden has not been formally charged in connection to 9/11.”

Asked to explain the process, Tomb responded, “The FBI gathers evidence. Once evidence is gathered, it is turned over to the Department of Justice. The Department of Justice then decides whether it has enough evidence to present to a federal grand jury. In the case of the 1998 United States Embassies being bombed, bin Laden has been formally indicted and charged by a grand jury. He has not been formally indicted and charged in connection with 9/11 because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting bin Laden to 9/11.”

nuff said.

Why is it that the Islamic radical groups do not subscribe to these conspiracy/misinformation theories that originate in the west? After all, you would think they would be the first ones to hop on the bandwagon.

Why should they bother to put in the effort with the all the attendant risks of discovery when Western subversive nuts can do it so much better?

The conspiracy and misinformation theories propounded by the loony left and the rabid right in the West are far more subversive and do a far more effective job at undermining Western Governments than pretty well anything they can do.

I just want to know how long Im going to have to wait before I meet somebody at the bar that claims to be a Navy Seal or some super high speed secret agent that was part of the raid. Im guessing it will happen twice this month.
I feel so safe in Thailand having personally met at least 8 million special operations guys at the bar. :D

Osama Bin Laden killed

Postby maaka » May 11, 2011, 8:01 am

three of my extended family are serving in Iraq and Aftganistan with the coalition forces, and have done more than one tour. one of them as come back to us in a bad way. However, they laid their life on the line, because the Bush admin asked certain countries to help and support them after 9/11, and with weapons of mass destruction. Well we all no what the outcome of the weapons of mass destruction turned out to be, a bunch of lies, all based on no proof I might add.

To come to me, and say that Bin Laden was killed in a covert raid, but sorry we cant show you any proof, is a kick in the guts when I look upon my son in law..I dont think this raid was handled at all well. You dont double tap the most wanted man in history, an unarmed man in the head, and destroy any proof that you actuallly got him..these Seal 6 guys can kill a man with a matchbox, with thier bare hands. You can double tap the heart, the gut, take nice snaps, and
heave ho..

Its the servicemen and women , and their families, that deserve more than just fairytells and rumours that he is dead, for the sacarifice they have given..if you couldnt provide that, then you should have captured him and sent him to the Hague, like Saddam, and all the others, so at least the world and the servicemen and women, could see that their endeavours have been worth it...Rumours and no proof is no good to me..

Osama Bin Laden killed

Postby parrot » May 11, 2011, 8:45 am

I suppose they could have strapped him up by his balls and run him through the streets of central USA. Or they could have done him Thai style and brought him to ground zero so that he could 'reenact' 9/11 for everyone to see.....Thai style.
The a-holes in the US aren't ready to bring a gitmo prisoner to NY for trial.....they sure aren't ready to bring OBL to the US....dead or alive.
Or we could do Thai style again and print the OBL photo on the top page of the nation's newspaper.......see the third frame of today's Thai Rath. For me, the US is better than that and for that I'm thankful.

Osama Bin Laden killed

Postby jimboLV » March 26, 2012, 10:31 am

Last night I happened to catch a two hour special on the DISCOVERY Channel entitled "Targeting Bin Laden". Well worth a look if you are at all curious as to how it went down. I was surprised to see the amount of detail about the raid that they showed. Extensive interviews with Obama himself and other high US officials, giving a blow by blow account of the sequence of the raid, as well as a lot of behind the scenes discussions and logic behind their actions. It wasn't clear how much of the actual raid footage was simulated, but they clearly had actual shots of the raid taking place, taken from a surveillance drone. Some of the other shots of the electronic intelligence looked real, to me at least.

One question they answered that I have always wondered, is how much "secret" information did the Pakis get from the downed helicopter. They explained that they destroyed all the sensitive parts, like the electronic communication gear, avionics package etc. with timed charges and Thermite grenades. Nothing was left but the carcass of the plane.
If you missed it, I'm sure it will be repeated at some point. After all, this is the HISTORY Channel. :D

The History Channel...hah! This is the station that spends hours showing junk such as how aliens are responsible for most of the important events that have taken place on this planet since time immemorial. Furthermore, they show things such as that comedy show about Korea - M.A.S.H. PBS has better historical documentaries than this station.

OOPs! My bad, it was on the History Channel. It's easy to get the two confused as they are so alike in their programming. I do agree with LMY that both channels show a lot of junk like the alien stuff, also the endless infomercials for a Las Vegas pawn shop, antique dealers chortling over how they have screwed over their clientèle, etc. But I don't think they have ever shown M.A.S.H. I guess they have to do something to fill out their schedule. But both also have some quality documentaries occasionally.

You are a true sociopath, Aardvark, whatever that is. The Mary Tyler Moore show had better humour than M.A.S.H.

The History Channel I view is an American one.
