Parking at Udon General Hospital

Parking at the Udon Hospital across from Lake Prajack has always been very neat and orderly...The reason for this was the ladies that patrolled the parking and kept things in line...Yes, it cost 10 baht, but it was worth it....For the past month, the ladies are gone and now everyone is just parking anyway that they want and it is really a mess...

The police have put signs in the center median stating that you can not park in the third lane from the curb... Since this is Thailand, you always assume that there is another reason that the ladies are not there directing traffic...My guess, and it is only a guess, might be that the police were not getting their "Fair Share" of the 10 baht parking fees...

Does anyone have any knowledge as to ehy the change took place...

Might have something to do with the new widen road along side of the hospital with all the new shops

Whenever we go I just park inside the park by the lake and read or something. Lot nicer than playing block the vehicle closer to the hospital. Just take two cells and no problem.
