Oh-oh...your wife is quite right about the subject matter, and correct protocol suggests I veer away from subjects that deal in death. 55555

I did not realise it was a 'death chant' until I saw the monks at the gravesite at the end of the video.

Thus, it seems I had better upload a much happier message, which I shall do for you and your wife later in the day (7:50 a.m. in Toronto now).

One thing about Issan music it's beer drinking music. Remninds me of Country Western. I keep waiting to here his wife ran off with his best friend and he misses him. Someone ran over his koon dog old blue and the repossesd his pickup =D>

Yep beer drinking music =D>

Yes Khun BM and Khun Git, and Isaan/Lao music is also about homesickness as well as the guy/girl who done her/him wrong. Sometimes, the songs focus on big city neglect and rudeness vs. rural friendliness and kindness.

Later, I will upload a song about the Thai entertainment establishments such as the Taewan daeng (Red Eye) in Udonthani.

Git, that sounds really interesting, but please do not disturb the princess for the information until she is in the best of moods. 55555

I don't care how big Jintara's ears are.
She is fit.

The other song about Udon Thani she sings mentions the food, Gai Yang and Som Tam, it's about 8/9 years old.

Khun Prenders88, thanks for the information about the other song Jintara sings about Udonthani. I guess we can add food to the topics that Isaan singers include in their catalogue.

You are right, Jintara is very fit.

It is funny because she is not a beauty and her voice is not the most beautiful, but there is something very attractive about her all the same.

I first took notice of her during a commercial on one of the music stations showing Thai videos and have been intrigued by Jintara ever since.

Oh she is fit, but the word in respectable Thai circles is that she regulates her body temperature through flapping her ears. Her ears also flap in time to the rhythm of her music.

You heard it here.

Khun Westerby, as I am sure you have already deduced, it all has something to do with apes, humans, transmigration, souls, and the Supreme Non-Being of Taoism.

You can look it up...in another thread! 55555
