 Thank you ,thank you!I am proud of my accomplishment and I appreciate the support for sure and need it to maintain!

Really never thought I could break 100 kilos, which was a secondary goal because I really wanted to get down to around 105 ,where I had been when I came to Thailand,to give relief to my flat feet and get back to the ability to have some reasonable activity time in my life.Depression was slowly taking over my life!

I did a 10-15 kilo loss a few years ago,but didn't maintain it obviously!balloned up pretty fast with bad drinking and eating habits, plus I hate working out and when our local gym closed,I stopped working out, with the excuse that the new gym didn't open until 4 pm was full and closed at 8 PM!which was and is very inconvenient to my lifestyle.(picking daghter up from school, homework help and dinner)

My wife was up and running every morning by 0600,but running, for me,was just to darn hard, plus my worries about my back going out with no chiro available locally and my flat feet were all the excuses I needed to stay in my funk, feeling and complaining about being old!Other than supporting my family,it felt like my life was over!

Now,I am back in the swing of life, weigh myself 2--4 times a day, before ,after workouts and other times(just weighed at home, and as I sit here in my skivvies at 0200,98 kilos :D ,97 being my lowest weight to date)as I want to stay focused and maintain this weight!! :D

I don't know if it nhas alot to do with the weight loss Ron,rather that it flushes ''the system'' and balance the PH levels ,helping with my Gerds, hyatic ulcer and a feeling of well being overall.

Besides that,it is a very old health remedy that I discovered through a friend and researched on the net.I don't know if it has any real positive effect or not.I know I have no acid indigestion and seemingly feel better, but those might be a reflection of the diet and exercise,or a combo of all 3,OR a figment of my mind

Whatever,I feel better and have developed a taste for it,not a craving, kind of like scotch, only I like the ACV-water better

Only positive ,nothing negative so far!! =D>

so how does the thai diet stack up in the health figures? they seem to be perpetually slim and i
enjoy the occasional thai dish but at first glance it does seem rather starchy with all the rice as
a staple? i'm currently "blimping out" for nearly 40 years i weighed 160 lbs, now in the last few
i've gained at least another 20 lbs. just kind of filling-out so to speak but like stan says you
notice it in your feet the most. so, i'm starting to look for more "lean cuisine" menu items

My food is mostly Thai, since I prefer spicey anyway, but when we eat out,my wife asks for NO MSG and SUGAR,which sometimes works  But we eat at home most of the time, which ,for us, is as expensive then eating out,but we have full control and use less oil, sugar, salt,FAT and no MSG.

For me,they main keys are:more meals, less and better content, fresh fruits for breakfast and snacks and following my exercise routines! I find that if I eat 4-6 a day times instead of 3 times,my fuel tank is never empty and I don't ''snack'' on the ''baddies''

I have been in ''maintenance mode'',staying at around 100 kilos!Less of a strict regimen on both foods and exercise.Which means, whwn we eat out,I drink my large beer, eat my deep fried doughballs 3-4 times a week with my coffee after the morning run and cutting back on my exercise time, skipping some sessions!

I didn't do any exercise or strict dieting, conciously, since the NFL started last Thursday for 4 days, only gained 1 kilo, which I ran off in the last 2 days!

I am surprised that I am having a relatively easy time maintaing the 100 kilo range, with 102-3 my outside range that says,''work it off''!

I have actually entertained thoughts about pushing on for 90 kilos, which I have not see for over 50 years! But,I am not sure It is worth the extreme regimen work to accomplish it,so I still only entertain the thinking

I am not a big consumer of alcohol, but sweets, cheese, peanut butter and breads are what I have to pay attention to!!!! [-X
