Pest control - good local service?

I am looking for a reputable local pest control company that does a service contract for bug and pest control. My Aussie neighbour had a company in a few months back but we have been out of Udon mostly so haven't had a chance to ask him who it was and how their service is. Basically same I had years ago in Pattaya where they do an extensive boring and spraying routine to get it all started and then monthly (or quarterly?) service calls to keep on top.

My neighbor and I both use Faroh Company. They do an excellent job but be sure to get a quote before beginning the application.

I think it is more the two legged kind, that is inported into LOS , that you need this service for malc.

We live in Nong Khai, not Udon, and have previously used Faroh on a 2 year contract.

They were happy to take our money for a 2 year contract and were supposed to come monthly, but they came when it suited them and missed many visits, at least 66% of them. Despite constant reminders they never made an appointment, but would just turn up (presumably when in the area), sometimes just as we were going out. When the contract ended, they hadn't been for the preceding 3 if not 4 months, and never made any further contact. Another example of non-existent customer service. So it suited us to find a new company, American Pest Control, (who are based in Nong Khai) and who always ring to make an appointment and come every month without fail, as per the contract.

I have never used Faroh on any type of extended service contract. I call them when the ants and cockroaches get especially bad, and the esterminators come out within a day or so. The treatment seems to be effective for 3 - 4 months. I live in Udon so that may help with the prompt response.

Frankly, I can't imagine myself signing up and paying in advance for ANY type of extended contract with any Thai service provider (Faroh included). There is no realistic way to enforce that agreement in the case of poor customer service or lack of follow through. And if the company goes out of business or is sold to another owner, you can forget about them honoring any previous arrangements or giving you a refund.

Any idea what sort of impact their treatments might do to well water? We have a 13m deep well (under a layer of rock)....it's drinkable. There are a few areas around the yard that I'd like treated (not within 10m radius of the well). I've been spot treating with cans of needle-nose spray.....but wonder if a treatment by the big guns would be a better option (or not).
