Photo Albums .

I am rather puzzled. In my members album"Thailand around", I posted several shots of a temple in Kanchanaburi just 10 days ago. All of them have been viewed about 3-5 times but one entitled " Through the bells" has received almost 300 views, in fact it has had 30 just today . It is quite an ordinary shot, no nudes or anything sensational so I am at a loss to understand this . Can anyone explain? Has it been hijacked or something?

Funny you should be the first to reply Jack. I was just thinking the views are ticking up faster than the English were scoring runs yesterday.

I've no idea about the photo views to be honest, the counter seems to be working OK though. Maybe someone out there likes bells.

Lee. Now almost 400 views. Is it possible this photo has been reproduced somewhere and the hits are ticking up on the forum meter?

Or perhaps a group of Forum members are deliberatly trying to wind you up

I don't think the photos can be hot-linked. Maybe the page with the photo is showing is ranking high in the search engines. Other than that I've no idea.

Test would be to change the photo name as "through the bells" maybe popular search phrase in holiday season. Or even "the bells", etc.

Reckon that's what's doing it. Though nothing to worry about.

The strange thing is that mindful of the search engines I used the Thai name Wat Tum Sua which literally translates to 'Tiger temple", knowing that the better known place in Kanchanaburi where the monks feed the tigers and visitors can walk with them , is far more likely to attract attention from searches . Its heading for the 500 mark now. Is there any way I could get paid per hit Lee? :It must be boosting your ratings .

540 now. Some forums don't get that many hits yet alone a single photo .

Uploaded just one month now and 800 hits. That must be a record?
