Pool Table

Postby Kudjap or Bust » December 12, 2007, 2:53 pm

Can anyone, maybe one of the UTH Pool League, tell me the official size of a professional pool table. I have found websites where they range from 6ft x 3ft to 9ft x 4ft

The size depends upon where you are playing, there are no set rules.
In the UK many tables are only 6ft.
I would recommend an 8ft table but its down to personal preference.

Correct Ba Bob. I don't want to buy one, well not yet anyway. I'm drawing up plans to build a games room and bar next to the swimming pool and needed the size so I won't be playing pool with the cue out of the window. Don't you just hate those bars where you've got a shot and you have to hold your cue at a sharp angle because of a wall or window.......

When and if you decide to buy I can recommend a company in Pattaya who supplied the tables for Megabreak. They are very reasonably priced for what is a superb table. As far as I am aware they measure 8ft by 4ft. Pm me for details
