Next destination Korat?!?

Im planning to take a trip to Korat. Can anyonbody give me tip about what to visit when i go there? Im not talking about nightlife or so.. just general tip on whats good to do in the Korat area.

korat is a lovely city, been there a couple of times but was in the company of a good girl and her very friendly family. ! thing i do remember about korat was the beautiful lake in the center, could walk or ride a bike around, only 3km but lots of arobics, painting children playing.... good atmosphere

Oh and staying in the village with the thai family was a real eye opener.... first time i ever ate beef, chicken and rice at 6am .... used to be 2 weetabix

Well.. ive been there before also.. or.. only at the countryside, and yeah it was great

But i was thinking someone might have a tip or two for what to do in the big city or what to visit around it.
