Always a sensible solution to noise - don't suffer it, contribute towards it.... :D :D

Indeed

Visited Udon in July and Irish Clock has the best food. Food at bangkok hotel was ok, but Irish clock is the best for a fair price.
Anyone who visits Udon should try it out.

Agreed,

But it is still in one of the worst places in Udon, down a dirty smelly road haunted by whoremongers, in the evening. The new red light district is but a stagger away ...........

Which is a shame.........., given the obvious investment in the place. And the food is excellent, the breakfast is superb if you want the full monty.

You sound very bitter and judgmental, Mr. Happy. Maybe we could get one of those Farang volunteer policemen to move these whoremongers on?

Well if you look at the menu you will see that the clock on the menu is reversed. There is no way this place was established by an Irish person. Only a Sassnach would come up with this.

Also written on the menu, top o' de mornin' or similar. I did have a quiet word in the shell-like of the proprietor and informed him that nobody has spoken those words since circa 1920 in the ar5ehole of Co. Kerry.

Yes the Irish Clock is one of the best places in Udon... But those menus, please somebody change them. change the name. The River Liffey, The Blarney Stone, Scruffy Murphy's, Irish Alan's (how much have I got in the bank?), Raquel would like to run a less-too-lawn.

Step 1: Tie Steve to a chair and make him watch me shred those f**king menus.

I hope you dont take offence Alan but my ole Boss who I worked with for 10 years used to say all that stuff, and many times I'm listening in the bars in an around London to the irish workers, hearing the same, and till this day jus thought thats how you boys talked, like we have the ole Cockney rhyming stuff down here in Essex, I can hear him now 'Arhh begeebers' Jasus, Mary an Joseph and Top of the morning, he was from Dublin, back in the 90's

Oh well someelse whinging about another bar, be happy gentlemen, so what if the clock and menus do not match up to your so called high ethnic standards, who cares I for one do not. Food good, atmosphere good, always made welcome, more than one can say in most bars, there are some exceptions but very few.

if you do not like whatis there do not go, problem solved.
