Glyn wrote:Cryptic, you are so wrong, but this thread is about identifying rip-off bars, if you read the whole thread, I started by why should this happen? In my home town (leaving out the night clubs and the work mens) we have around 20 bars, and the prices range from 120bt a pint to 130bt. If bars step drastically over the average range they deserve to be slandered. We are trying not to include/complicate by comparing special service or high-quality establishments. As you started the negatives about this thread, please can you tell me why the big price differences, once I understand this I'll know where you are coming from, but at the moment I'm lost by your comments. Perhaps b4 answering you'll read about my brothers pub in UK, the part where he has to pay high taxes, electric, heating, rates, higher salaries and still offers drinks at UT prices.
What the heck are you on about. I have read the thread and this is the result of some comments,
Topic started June 19 by you and on the same day you talk about Wales(UK)and your brothers pub there.
Mapache June 20 talks about the price of water in Manila, eh.
Arjay June 20 also mentions the UK.
trubrit June 21 also talks about the UK.
Lee June 21 even shows a blackboard with prices from the UK.
BeerMonk. June 21 duplicates the same bloody blackboards from the UK.
Donthani June 21 shows another blackboard price list in the UK.
Roy June 21 also mentions the UK.
Grasshopp. July 25 mentions Soi Cowboy in BKK.
Briandavis. July 27 mentions Soi Cowboy.
trubrit July 27 talks about Lord Cohen & Tesco in the UK.
trubrit July 28 talks about the UK and Tesco again in the UK.
Glyn Aug 2 talks about beer ads in the UK.
Glyn Aug 2 talks about UK and a place called butty.
fallenlocks. Aug 4 talks about Jomtien and Pattaya prices.
Ralphcuss. Aug 19 talks about the UK price structure...eh
Bobhelm Aug 19 mentions UK
Wazza Aug 19 mentions BKK.
Apart from that we have had to put up with Alcoholics Anonymous comments, tuk tuk prices to your place, mosquitoes at night market and Butty in Wales on a personal note. I thought this was on Udon Thani not the UK or Wales, etc etc.
So before you start preaching what I should and should not do, have a closer look at the thread you started. And I dont give a rats a*** where you think I am coming from or going, I just put down what I believe to be correct and logical.
If you sell San Mig large, why not tell John the price without him running around trying to find the price of 57B.
Heck yeah, nice one to get a thread going about your premises as well. No harm intended of course.
