Transsexual arrested following theft from English man in Central Pattaya.

At 1.30 on Saturday Morning, Police Major Wittaya from Pattaya Police Station was called to Soi Diana Inn, Central Pattaya to deal with a suspected street robbery involving an English Tourist and a transsexual. At the scene, members of the public had detained Khun Pongsatorn aged 22 who was accused of stealing a wallet from Mr. David aged 50 from England. Both the suspect and victim were taken to Pattaya Police Station where Mr. David explained that he was walking back to his Hotel when the suspect came up beside him and suggested the pair go back to his Hotel. Mr. David refused the suspects advances and soon realized that the transsexual had stolen Mr. David’s wallet from his trouser pocket who then raised the alarm and members of the public managed to detain Khun Pongsatorn. At the Police Station the suspect confessed to the theft and revealed that he was trying to raise money to purchase silicon breast implants. Further checks on the suspect were made and it was discovered that he had been arrested before on similar charges and he had also been previously arrested relating to class 1 drug charges. He is now behind bars once again awaiting his time in Court.
