The Lost Abbey Brewery bought over their beers to much aclaim at the Great British Beer Festival last August at Londons Earl's Court.

I feel sorry for Astana and for all the hate that he feels he must live with. I know from experience that people like that are very unhappy individuals should be ignored like the sick person he is.

My real question is why have the moderators permitted this hateful trolling. Does Astana have a special trolling license for anti American statements on our National Day ?

Uncle Tom, people like Astana are, as you say, the ones we must feel sorry for, as they always try to bring down special days or events for everyone. But as this is a free forum, with certain limitations, the moderators must allow desent, within the agreed limitations. I cannot wait for Guy Fawkes Day, November 5, to see what major complaint Astana will thrust upon us for that special Brithish holiday.

Yes. Churchill, FDR and many others were very aware of the Japanese fleet's movements in the Pacific and the planned attack on Pearl Harbor.

You can choose to be critical, but I believe the public needs to be aware that the State is the enemy, expecially in the conduct of war as a politial means. So I applaud Astana's testimonial as to the tyranny of the State, the U.S. or other. The U.S. Revolutionary War was deadly, destructive and brutal as were all following U.S. military actions.

Lets be fair - all contested revolutions are deadly, destructive and brutal - whether American or not. Lets just be thankful that Britain and USA did not spend the next 200 years killing one another, or i think the world would be a poorer place.

Yes the Mods try not to move or stop debate. However this thread was not started as a debate thread but some people cannot seem to be able to just let others celebrate their holidays.

If you go back and reread this thread you will plainly see why wars are started.

i too like K E have no axe to grind with our colonial cousins , so who ever you are , and where ever you are , have a great time . take comfort in the fact that you do have a national day that you are free to celebrate in whichever way you choose , which im affraid is not the case for england !!! our national day is st georges day , and in some areas it cannot be celebrated without some P C idiot bleeting on about it being predudice , and our national flag , cannot be waved at football matches and the like , again without someone protesting . incidently guy fawkes day is not a national holiday , its more a day of mourning , that he failed in his quest to remove our country of a tyrinical government , and britain has been suffering ever since . so , you yanks enjoy your day , and long may you be free to do so .

The 4th is about watermelon, beer, BBQ and fireworks. It seems you always get some dope that tries to put christ in christmas and make it all boring when its about the toys. I am wasted and Im going to party

I am a big admirer of america,i lived in douglasville,GA.the people down south are one of the best on the planet,HAPPY 4TH OF JULY DOUGLASVILLE & THE REST OF YOUR GREAT COUNTRY.
I did not want to wake up sleeping dog's which is why i was keeping quite.
