Once again maaka you have come up with romantic ideas and scenarios that are fantastic. The only down side is that, generally speaking, cute Thai Ladies are reluctant to show this kind of behavior in public places. I personally don't mind the publicity and would not hesitate getting straight down to it where ever I was.
However, I will sweet whisper into my loved ones ear, asking her if she is up for it at KK dam, or nong prajak park as it's closer, and I'll let you know how I get on.

yes they are a shy lot at times, still they love a picnic, and you dont have to get toooooo carried away, save that for afters back at home..the picnic can just be the curtainraiser, and for setting the mood..

Nongprajack is nice but dont go sitting next to the path with everyone cycling by, get abit of green space, and remeber romance is the order of the day...if all else fails OT you can always fall back on that restaurant dinner..maybe do both in the same day, picnic lunch and evening meal, and desert at home..I guess Udon has not got alot of features such as a beach, a forrest park, horse drawn buggies, and other such things that can help to compliment ones romantic nature..one can always go camping for the weekend, open fire, moonlite nights, cuddled up close in a wee tent oyiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...

maaka suggest you do a UM forum search for a fella who calls himself izzix.

Upon his own admission he has rogered every second woman in Thailand between the ages of 18 and 58. :D

I have been to a few all you eat barbecues in Udon, many use that processed pork that seems to popular in Isaan. But my favourite is the one near President Hotel. The meat is real, you get more than 1 dipping sauce, and there is a large selection of foods that can be ordered , that are included in the all in price. There is a Morlam band every night, good selection of fruit and desserts, yes that is where is go, near Kinnaree !
Just be careful when you stretch your legs on the hot coal container !
