I am looking for somewhere to stay for about two weeks in March/April. (a getaway from her family!) It must
be child friendly as we have 3 young children. Any views on this one. Is the pool crowded, are screaming kids frowned on? Or, if you know of a small resort with pool somewhere else I'd be grateful for any info. Thanks in advance, A

had 7 friends stay at the Sai Tong Resort a couple of weeks ago.. They were just having their "formal" opening with a monk ceremony and the string around the whole property. The new bungalows are larger than the old ones, all with A/C, cable TV, hot/cold running water with showers. The compound is nicely laid out with parking beside each bungalow. The pool was nicely done, not huge but enough for big farangs to porpoise around in.. The owner charges 500 Baht a night for the newer bungalows with 800 for a double size bungalow. The older bungalows are 450 Baht a night.. My friends complained a bit about the advertised internet access. The owner had not yet put in a decent wireless access point so it was up and down with poor connectivity from most of the bungalows. Two of my buddies are IT techs so gave the owner the rundown on what to purchase to fix the problems... Other than that, all were satisfied with value for money paid and will stay there again when returning to Udon..
