This advertising thing drives me crazy. Various carriers have advertised flights at silly prices, but with all the add-ons, really works out to something like a normal fare. That said, if you're on-line, very quick and lucky, you may get a real bargain with an Air Asia special promotion. Problem then is that it's months away and they may change the flights. Happened to me when planning a trip to Hanoi, when the new flight meant I lost best part of a day - so I cancelled.

How can the listed price not include fuel?

Imagine getting on a bus and being charged a separate fee for fuel.

I don't care how they divide up the price. What does it cost me?

Nothing more than a bait and switch tactic -- enticing you with a very low fee, then doubling or tripling it.

I thought the Fuel levy was for when the Price was up around $140.00 a Barrel  last time I looked it was almost half that 8) I just did a quick calculation, 180 passengers at Bht950 per head = Bht 171.000 for a one way ride of 560 miles :-k does that sound right :-s

I have just booked a flight from Bangkok to Udon and return. As I have to connect a flight back to Australia I don't want any delays - just how reliable are they keeping to a time table? Additionally - a taxi to Don Mueang to the International airport (BBK) how long shouls I allow for this, day time travel.
Appreciate all replies

You can Fly with Thai from Swampy to Udon Return for a few hundred Baht more than Nok and save the Money and time switching between Airports. Convert it into your own Currency and it's nothing compared with the Hassles of Traffic etc. It makes sense =D>
