Sad little ***** boy, always quick to deflect criticism.

Remember ... N Ireland? Predictably pathetic.

& your question about Northern Island was???
If it is why did I not write "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Embassy" in the title and wrote British Embassy instead it was for brevity - the same as many people write US Embassy instead of United States of America Embassy.
I fail to see what is so vital or important about this...maybe you can enlighten us all.
As for deflecting criticism, rather the opposite I am quite happy to take part in any intelligent debate concerning facts. However I have no interest in getting involved in the silly name calling that you so quickly revert to - it realy does you or your ideas little credit & much harm...

Its the simple realization that you can't take the slightest bit of criticism. You twist and spin like a crocodile, avoiding any hint of fault or unfavorable remark like a thumb to the eyeball. You predictably deflect and bend the discussion away like poison. Thin skin and all, it's ok, don't worry. I've come to expect as much.

More personal abuse & no answer to the real question....
I seriously suggest that you look at your own posts Tex, the criticism you post above is very much a mirror image of how you appear (& still continue to appear) from your posts...
If you could maybe explain how my last post 'took the discussion away' on some other route???

I'm Still interested in picking up from you the spare C1 application form , that's if you still have available . Would be interested to collect asap. Many thanks

Got my daughters British passport back today ( first 10 year one )

My only problem was not completing the details re her registration as a British National.

Hong Kong kindly emailed me to request them fter noting her place of birth was in Thailand

I emailed them back and 4 days later the passport has arrived.

Came via DHL and I had to sign for the package / letter.

How,s that for good service then, well done FCO

Has anyone renewed yet?

What were the total costs, including EMS?

How long did it take for your new passport to arrive?

Cheers! :D

Very painless operation.
I think one of the main things to remember is when you renewed in BKK you sent your old passport but when renewing in HK you only need send a photocopy of the picture page. The other point I didn't know is that only if you have facially changed somewhat do you need to have one photo countersigned. I had mine signed just in case, belts and braces as my dear old Dad used to say.
