Last week Makro was down to about 6 packages, don't know if they restocked yet, they sell for 59bt. Haven't been to carrefour in a while so couldn't say, but they typically have them in stock and I think they sell for 59bt as well.

All Carefour had was flour tortilla, They had corn at one time spoke to them about ordering corn, they just didn't get it about I don't know what Mackro has. So I wanted some spoke to Nong Khai he a was out as well and just reordered.

So I went when the order came in there not 59 baht, 90 baht. some one is in Mackro again check them out please, not interested in flour just got corn.

Sounds like you need a fix, I got a pack of 10 in the freezer I can turn you on to

BTW, last time (about a month ago) I was at Carrefour they were out of flour, so I'm guessing they'll restock corn.

Thanks I'm fine I wanted to buy bacon there (different source) anyway so I just stopped off so I'm fine.

Thanks Though. Lots of friends had been complaining they couldn't find them so I posted it. I asked about restocking as well, didn't get a positive answer. But it's Thailand time will tell. :-"

59 is certianly better but 90 is a cheaper then a flight to Bangkok ;)

Just back from Makro. They have corn and flour torillas. Corn 59bt, 8" flour 85bt and 12" flour a whopping 299bt. No misprint, that's the price is listed on my receipt. Now excuse me, time to make huevos con chorizo y papa burritos :D

Who is the maker of the corn if it's not Dante, they would be good. Dante is good on taco shells if you like hard tortillas and chips. But with soft corn they just fall part when you try to fry them. If they are El Charro that's heck of a good price. I'll remember to check there next time. Thanks for the update.

Any of the flour tortilla's seem to be OK

Did you notice if they had Alvacados and lemons. Tostasda sounds real good

299 Bt do they think they are made from Gold leaf?
I saw them yesterday and loaded 4 packs in my trolley when I got to check out and saw the price I said no thanks and got 4 packs of the 8 incH, how the heck do El Charro justify this price?
8 inch has approx 25 in of area and 12 inch has 37.7 so roughly 50% bigger but 350% x the price ???
I will email the other brand and see if they can distribute thru Makro, they are much healthier, as El Charro has 7% Palm Oil.

Ohh the embarrassment, no edit function.
An 8 " tortilla has 50.2 Sq In.
A 12" has 113 sq in so its a little over twice the size but still 3.5 greater in price.
Note to self : do not post in hang over condition

All made by El Charro. Lemons yes, not sure about avocados. Funny you mention tostadas, tomorrow I'm making ceviche tostadas.
