Hotel Ban Mae Rim Nam in Nong Khai

I was in September 2009 some days in Nong Khai and I would like to recommend this hotel, as I never read about it in the internet. It is a tiny little hotel on the side oft the Mekong, right if you leave the Indochinamarket on the east side:



There are only about 20 rooms, but as it is quite newly built (February 2009) everything looks good and the sanitary still is clean.



There is no restaurant, but no matter, if you walk some meter more far away the are three or four good and interesting places looking at the water. Down in the hous a sympathic Swiss with his attractive Thai wife opened a shop with german food, good bacon, nice whitebeer, even dark.



My room was with shower and costed a night Baht 700.



I passed some nice days there.
