Quik-Fires most enthusiastic customer

This is an interesting and unusual story from which a lesson can be learned.
The gentleman pictured turned out to be Quik-Fire's most enthusiastic bbq customer, ever.

Dick is an engineer out of Bangkok, while on holiday with wife in Vientiane, got caught up in a scuffle attempting to help some woman getting her teeth kicked in. For his trouble he got stabbed 9 times by the assailant.
He then stumbled into the road trying to flag down a tuk tuk to take him to hospital, they saw all the blood and many passed him by.
Finally, one stopped and took him and wife to the hospital where they did more harm than good, so American Embassy arranged immediate transfer to AEK Udon.

About three days before being released from AEK Udon, he called us saying he desperately needed to see and order a bbq before going home to Bangkok. So off Sawitta and I went to pick him up bringing him to our home to view the bbq's on display.
To our surprise he was still dress in hospital clothes with an IV hanging out of his arm, as seen in picture.
Dick had a great constitution and very accepting point of view regarding his near death experience.
From his picture one can see, this is a pretty cool dude.
