Prenders explanation of BUNTERS PIES ( name wise ) is pretty dam accurate - by the way now the top selling product in the shop on average 30 plus pies a day (today 77) CRAZEEEEEE!! ( 75 bt each or any 10 mixed pies - 600bt) bacon and sausages NOW REDUCED to new price .

Lots of munters in Scuntorpe as well as Croyden Prenders , In Scunny they push the pram with their fat gut cos they are holding a bigmac in one hand and a cigar in the other on the way to the DHSS.

I do have a cracking chicken curry POT PIE in CC - but not in the Bunters range solly Wazza.

Forget to mention the "eat in" food items menu seems to be expanding now Daos enjoying wearing the chefs hat (she does wear other clothes as well - well downstairs anyway) SO FROM NOW ANY ONE EATING FROM THE CC SPECIALS BOARD GETS A FREE BIG MUG OF PG TIPS TEA INCLUDED.

Hello ALL.

Just about to have my breakfast this morning went in the sausage freezer in the shop and found a glasses case containing - yes glasses - but also a small amount of money can only think its dropped out of a customers top/shirt pocket whilst rooting thru the sausages , suffice to say if you have bought any sausages from CC and you cant find your glasses then i think i can help.

Hello all.

The glasses (and money) have been returned as a gentleman came in this morning and recalled losing them "somewhere" in Udon whilst a tadge tipsey (well steaming actualy), i did manage to keep his money tho as he sampled one of our new lamb shish kebabs (Morroccan style) and a can of cider for his breakfast (strange brekkers selection ). I think he will be loosing his glasses again some time very soon.

Just a quick update ref the shop .

I have had quite a few enquiries ref vegetarian food products notably microwave ready meals so as well as the usual beef lasagne , indian curries , cottage pies , chilli con carne , Italian meatballs , beef stew etcetc we have added a cracking spinach lasagne - nice big portion and very tasty with other veggie dishes to follow .

A friend of Daos from BKK is opening a vegetarian restaurant in Udon in the next few weeks so will be using his place for the veggie range , there seems to be a lot of Udon residents that are non meat eaters both Thai and farang alas im not one of them cant beat a big old mixed grill !!!!!!!

So to maintain fair play for meat lovers to cook at home - why not make your own mixed grill from the CC freezers - 1 STEAK (ribeye , rump , striploin or tenderloin ) , 1 PORK CHOP , BACON (2 rashers) , SAUSAGES (2 fatboys) , BURGERS (2) , BLACK PUDDING (2 RINGS ) all for only 299 bt .

Can that BBQ pack be substituted within reason for some products ? Ie, I dont do the pork or Black Pudding stuff, or is it easier to just buy what i need individually ?

Im a flexible sort of chap Wazza im sure we can take out / change some items no propem . the packs are made up at the time of purchase not pre packed so the quantity of the items included can be chopped and changed . The mixed grill pack i posted was the typical example .

From looking at some of the websites PM'd to me by O/T, I gained the strong impression that the typical pork sword had a strong Archimedean twist to it.

Can you please confirm.

Not a twist in the pork sword more of a slight curve Jack , i can confirm the beef curtain bashing monster is a native of Scunthorpe !!!!!! NOT SO the excellent quality spinach lasagne and other tasty ready meals on offer at CC ( TO GET BACK ON TOPIC) they are made fresh in the metropolis that is Udonthani .

Any one out there partial to roast beef or Virginia ham - ive just cooked , sliced and packed a cracking topside joint and a whole ham joint , very very lean and tasty ( same same Dao)

I know this has been discussed at lenght numerous times on this forum but is Chern Chim the only place in town that has a strict no animals inside policy - YET AGAIN had a customer this morning who was most annoyed i refused entry for his four legged friend (a rat like lap dog) . I am by no means dog hater (as most of my past girlfriends prove ) but i would of thought twas perfectly obvious that an animal of any kind is not permitted in a food shop , in the 14 months since opening CC i have explained to numerous customers ref this subject with no problem i have refused entry for dogs , a parrot a rabbit and a box of chicks i kid you not , this leads me to the question

PLEASE can anyone tell me where to obtain a nice graphic sign with the clear message " SORRY NO ANIMALS IN THE SHOP " OR theres a FREE bacon roll and a mug of tea for anyone who brings one in .
