Has anyone used the above company to book air tickets. They seem to offer some good fares, are essentially internet only, based in Bangkok, but don't seem good at answering their phone.

Does anyone have any experience of using them?

No experience RJ, but will be interested what others have to say, and have bookmarked them.

They currently have a Bkk/Perth/Bkk fare which is 5000TBH cheaper than the TG online fare.

WTF!!

I think I picked up their contact details from this forum.

I tried to make a booking today and it accepted everything up to my credit card details, and then those were rejected, I think by their bank. My credit card company said no request for payment was received. Though Mox have since issued me with an invoice with 2 days to pay.

However, whenever I rang them, no answer. I've sent them an email type message. So am just wondering.

There are a few reports on Mox in Thai Visa - none of them negative.

Seems they have been around for 3 years, and googling also throws up nothing negative (on the first 2 pages at least).

Have a look here for more info http://www.zuji.co.th/about.htm

All credit cards are in effect "Global"! I think it's more a case of localised security systems/checks not knowing cards from certain countries.

Well, I did my research, thank you for your input everyone. Though 747 seems to be wrong. ;)

In the event, I booked my flights through Mox with EVA.

Economy: 28000 baht (EVA website price: 45500)

Elite class (Super Economy): 51000 baht. (EVA website price 62500 baht)

Once I'd realised that Mox were Internet based and I switched to using emails (they don't have a walk in shop), I in fact found them very good, quick and professional, responding to my emails promptly. They gave me a link & reference to "Checkmytrip", which showed the Itinerary and an EVA reference, which when I submitted onto EVA's own website confirmed the flight details and seat numbers, which Mox had changed more than once to better meet my requirements. :D I've since had my e-tickets. :D

Agreed, I couldn't get their system (I believe Kasikorn Bank based) to accept my UK credit card, though they offer several other ways of paying, including transfers from a number of Thai banks. In the event I TT'd my money direct from my UK bank account to one of Mox's Thai bank accounts. I initiated the transfer on friday, when X rates were at their recent best, and received my E-tickets this afternoon!

So overall very pleased with cost and service. :D

I sent an E-mail to them last Sun. morning about booking a return flight from BKK to SFO on China Airlines late next month and have yet to receive a reply. Has this been the experience of others that have used their services?

Hi,
Just booked a flight with Mox Travel to Manchester U.K. 8,000B cheaper than booking with the airline. Checked their figures. Everything went well and flying out next month, the 21st, with Etihad.
I have a British credit card and there was no trouble with them over accepting it. There was a small charge for using a C.C. about 700B for my flight. Everything seemed well run, and they were prompt in replying.
Will keep people informed if any problems.
Funman when you get onto their site. Fill out all the details they ask for and they will give you a list of the flights that have seats for the days you choose. You don;t have to pay or take the flights they offer. Being a budget firm they like to cut out all unnecessary work. If you do have problems they give you a code you can contact them with, by e-mail or phone.
