I do not know of any accomodation in Udon that is not guest friendly shiva.
The only place that I have even known to charge any extra for a guest is The Grand, where, if you want 2 breakfasts instead of 1 they will, obviously, charge you for the extra breakfast... :D

why is people never telling what they want - if they want help

single or with GF or family
want to stay in bar area
want a swimmingpool
want comfort
want a hard bed
budget 300 baht og 5000 baht

than you will get better help

I doubt you'll have to undergo an 'interrogation' :lol: in Udon. Elsewhere, particularly in tourist areas, checks are made on room occupancy, maybe 'friend's' ID held - particularly at the better hotels???
It might be useful, if you are using the internet, pre-booking or just walking in, to specify a double room - for two occupants. You don't have to name the second person. I did that with an internet booking for fairly good hotel in Patong. No problems for me, but I was aware others had this guy pursuing them to check in early hours of morning. Great! - when your mind's on something else. :-"

When i'm at bkk,I just ask for A room for 2 people.So when I have company there isn't A problem
