New Leader winning Serious Respect.

Postby old-timer » August 26, 2010, 5:39 pm

Davis Cameron is a new leader that has managed to win serious respect. According to this anyway:

Hey OT,

Its too early to say anything about Cameron. He does seem to be a nice guy but time will tell. GB is in a shambolic state at the moment, the same as my country and most of Europe. He has a tough uphill battle.

Lets give him some time, hes quite young for a leader so he should be able for it

Well if one wants to ask What the """ has this got to do with udon Thani, one could also ask what the """ has any other countries polices or politics got to do with Udon Thani either.
#I seem to remember posts about the USA, Australia as well as occasionally other countires but as yet no-one has asked why.
before you ask bloody stupid questions, make sure your country has not featured in a post regarding its politics.

To answer the question, following on from the last labour Govts debacle ion the economy and other facets, and to put it bluntly, any decent politican would a good job, David Cameron has the personality and the intelligence to make a seemingly hard task easy or in other words make the hard decisions and has the intelligence to explain it so that most people understand .

Time will tell if he triumphs, but let us be brutally honest, most Western nations are having a hard time , so any person acting well is considered good.
And before anyone asks, I did not vote, but I hope he is successful as anything is better than what was there before.

too many of the ......., for my liking :D

david camerons wife samantha, gave birth to their daughter
while on holiday in cornwall , and they wanted to give her a name
with a cornish connection . they decided on, florence rose endellion cameron .
endellion being a village in cornwall , named after saint endellion .

IMHO , they should have named her pasty , or even patsy ..

p.s and he should stop child allowance ,
if you can,t afford them ,
dont make them..

The title of this thread reminds OT of himself.
The best thing about friday afternoons is that it's getting very close to friday night, which means off to the ATM, lager, WFB's, drink driving, cuts and bruises, puking up over new clothes (not mine), viagra, and waking up sometime on Sunday.

I am not sure Mr. Cameron would be quite so popular if it was not for the fact that he does not have a majority in Parliment & so must rely on the Liberal vote to pass legislation.
Although every party in the UK now has some sort of 'centre' viewpoint with a few wacky add-ons depending on which group they call themselves.
While no one has a majority the wacky ideas tend to get pushed to the background & the solid centre policies get pushed through.

I think at one point or another most of the countries represented by the expats in Udon have had problems with one another at some pont in their history. However In Udon this stuff should be forgotton about. For Example, im Irish but i dont have any problem with british people and they certainly dont have a problem with me.

I know Hangsaboot is probably only Joking but i just wanted to make the point.

My two cents worth is Unfortunatly like most other European countries Britain is becoming a welfare state paying all the immigrants they have to take becasue of a colonial past. Britain is not alone, France the Netherlands and Spain are in the same boat. Its not an insult to anyone, unfortunately its just a fact

Well said DermotC, the sad fact is that in so many cases and countries we are reaping the rewards or problems of our colonial past. The systems set up to assist our own has come back to haunt us. It always amazes me that the newly independent states we colonised and set free do not in the main have the same welfare safety net most of Europe has.

For all his faults and I am sure he has many Cameron does have a pragmatic approach and a personality to push forward the feeling that it will be ok providing we all work at it, gone is the divide and conquer attitude and instead we have a sense of working to gether, possible teamwork, I wouldn't go as far as stating that, but it does seem to work at the moment.
